Q1. How are the Stones generally packed and what is the quantity that can be shipped in a 20 ft container?

Ans 1: The material is packed in wooden boxes/pallets generally made up of Eucalyptus / Mango wood each taking about 30-35 sq.m. of material of 7-15 mm thickness. A 20 ft long container takes about 20 boxes of size 38cm x 38cm x 25cm. The quantity shipped per container depends on (1) The allowed weight at the destination port and (2) Upon the thickness of the stone.
Generally (with a variation of +/- 10%) the quantity of material that can be shipped in a 20 ft container would be the following (28 tons): (For 20 tons a prorata reduction is advised)

Q2. What are the Delivery terms?

Ans 2: The raw material is available ex - stock.Time required for processing and delivery to port is 3- 4 weeks after receipt of a confirmed order or L/C for standard sizes. Shipping time port to port is extra. However for orders of specific sizes it is requested to get in touch with us for knowing the exact time. We shall endeavor to supply as per your request.

Q3. What Guarantees are provided?

Ans 3: We wish to build long term relationship with our customers and adhere to only supplying quality products. All our shipments are guaranteed for the agreed Quality and Delivery time, in case of any deficiency in quality or service the material is replaced free of cost or the customer is suitably compensated.

Q4. What is the Quality assurance?

Ans 4: We have enough experience and understand the tastes of the different international markets very well. Our experienced staff inspect each shipment personally. We adhere to all quality parameters. Also we are open to independent third part inspections from any outside agencies like SGS, Llyods etc.

Q5. Do you arrange for samples?

Ans 5:Generally we send small samples (3cmx3cm) to serious customers for the evaluation. Bigger samples could be sent against specific requirements and on freight collect (to pay) basis. Nevertheless once we receive your valued order the cots of samples is reduced form the invoice. Kindly do let us know about yourself in detail to forge business relationships.

Q6. Do you appoint Sales Agents/Distributorship ?

Ans 6: Sure, we are keen to appoint Sales Agents and Distributors throughout the world and welcome all serious inquiries.
We would appreciate you sending us the following information to enable us decide on Agency/Distributorship.
a. Your profile with history detailing years in the stone trade.
b. Present products handled, products of interest and their estimated sales.
c. Territory/Area of marketing operation.
d. Payment terms sought & security of payments.
